Franco Lattanzi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apparently director Franco Lattanzi has died.  I can&#8217;t find any obituary information about him, which is hardly surprising&#8230; any information whatsoever about the guy is sketchy at best.<\/p>\n<p>Suffice to say, he made four films, and is best known for his three spaghetti westerns: <strong>Tiger from the River Kwai<\/strong>, <strong>Il Giustiziere di Dio <\/strong>and <strong>Sei bounty killers per una strage<\/strong>. Judging by these, he wasn&#8217;t the best of directors &#8211; they&#8217;re all pretty dreadful, to be honest &#8211; but here at The Wild Eye we have an unhealthy obsession with his kind of bottom-feeding filmmaker, so it&#8217;s sad to hear that he&#8217;s gone the way of Joe D&#8217;Amato, Demofilo Fidani and so many others.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apparently director Franco Lattanzi has died.
