Marcella Di Folco"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_2206\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2206\" style=\"width: 312px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewildeye.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Amarcord_Principe.jpg\" ><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2206  \" title=\"Amarcord_Principe\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thewildeye.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Amarcord_Principe.jpg\" alt=\"Marcello Di Folco\" width=\"312\" height=\"171\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.thewildeye.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Amarcord_Principe.jpg 496w, http:\/\/www.thewildeye.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Amarcord_Principe-160x88.jpg 160w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 312px) 100vw, 312px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2206\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Marcello Di Folco<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Marcella Di Folco, who died on the 7th September, was born Marcello Di Folco (Rome 7 March 1943) and was an activist, actress and Italian politician.\u00a0 She was president of MIT and vice president of ONIG.\u00a0 She was repeatedly nominated for parliamentary elections and was a city counciler between 1995 and 1999 in Bologna.\u00a0 In cinema, she worked for directors such as Federico Fellini and Roberto Rossellini.<\/p>\n<p>After graduating from high school in 1961, she started working at the Hotel Rivoli in Rome as a porter.\u00a0 Between 1965 and 1978 she worked at the Piper Club in Rome, during which time her revolutionary and unconventional ideas developed.
