In <strong>Colossus of the Arena<\/strong> he played a cowardly sidekick to Maciste (Mark Forest), and he was one of many black performers to feature in the entertaining jungle adventure <strong>Tarzak Against the Leopard Men<\/strong> (both films also feature Harold Bradley).  He also turned up in a Franco &amp; Ciccio film (Indovina chi viene a merenda?) and <strong>Shaft in Africa<\/strong>, which was partially shot in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been unable to find any information about him whatsoever, but I&#8217;m guessing that he was an American, primarily because of his early credits on US TV (unless these are erroneous, of course).  He has the physique of a dancer, so that might well be what he was originally doing in Rome (see also <a href=\"http:\/\/europeanfilmreview.co.uk\/blog\/?p=110\" onclick=\"javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackEvent','outbound-article','http:\/\/europeanfilmreview.co.uk']);\" target=\"_self\">Van Aikens<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/europeanfilmreview.co.uk\/blog\/?p=225\" onclick=\"javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackEvent','outbound-article','http:\/\/europeanfilmreview.co.uk']);\" target=\"_self\">Wilbert Bradley<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/europeanfilmreview.co.uk\/blog\/?p=303\" onclick=\"javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackEvent','outbound-article','http:\/\/europeanfilmreview.co.uk']);\" target=\"_self\">Leo Coleman<\/a> etc).
