{"id":642,"date":"2008-07-11T09:42:45","date_gmt":"2008-07-11T09:42:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/europeanfilmreview.co.uk\/blog\/?p=253"},"modified":"2008-07-11T09:42:45","modified_gmt":"2008-07-11T09:42:45","slug":"latest-remakes-il-gioccattolo-and-cosa-avete-fatto-a-solange-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.thewildeye.co.uk\/blog\/latest-news\/latest-remakes-il-gioccattolo-and-cosa-avete-fatto-a-solange-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Il gioccattolo &#038; Cosa avete fatto a Solange remakes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apparently remakes of both Il gioccattolo and Cosa avete fatto a Solange are tentatively in the pipeline at the moment&#8230; I don&#8221;t know whether to laugh or cry!<\/p>\n<p>Alex Infasacelli, who&#8221;s just starting his latetst film, <strong>L&#8221;ombra di satana <\/strong>for Sky Cinema, has revealed that one of his wishes is to remake <strong>Il giaccottolo<\/strong>, Giuliano Montaldo&#8221;s 1979 comedy in which a timid bookkeeper is revealed to be a talented marksman and determines to bring justice to his neighbourhood. &#8221; I want to make it because it speaks about as I feel, as an Italian, in 2008 in Rome&#8221;  Said Infascelli.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Marco Martani, who previously directed <strong>Cemento armato<\/strong>, is also planning a remake of <strong>Cosa avete fatto a Solange <\/strong>(aka <em>What Have they Done to Solange<\/em>), working from a script by Fausto Brizzi (who&#8221;s best known for his work on Christian De Sica comedies).
