Visitbritain - formerly known as The British Tourist Authority - is the organisation that promotes Britain as a tourist destination overseas. The visitbritain website was one of the busiest in the country when I was working on it, and my responsibilities included search engine promotion, traffic monitoring, email marketing and much more.
