Isabel De Valvert

Isabelle De ValvertApart from the fact that she starred in a handful of films in the early / mid seventies, I haven’t been able to unearth a great deal of information about Ms De Valvert. Her cinematic career was short lived, lasting a scant two years between 1973 and 1975 and spanning just five productions, mostly low grade exploitation such as Brunello Rondi’s Women’s Prison and Ugo Liberatore’s slice of exotic erotica, Noa Noa. Probably the most prominent role she had was in the 1975 TV adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo, which starred Richard Chamberlain, Trevor Howard and Harry Baird.

Beyond that, she also had a brief turn as a singer, releasing one single (‘Mami and Daddy’) and appeared in an issue of playboy.

  • Mamma… li turchi! (1973)
  • Number one (1973)
  • Noa Noa (1974) aka The Survivors of the Bounty
  • Prigione di donne (1974) aka Women’s Prison …. Isabelle
  • The Count of Monte-Cristo (1975) (TV) (as Isabelle de Valvert) …. Haydee
