Adriana Ambesi, who also used the pseudonyms Audrey Amber and Audrey Ambert, appeared in two spy films: Cave of Diamonds and Secret Agent Superdragon, as well as a number of other genre releases made between 1963 and 1969. After a number of bit parts – as in Cave of Diamonds – she briefly graduated to female lead in Camillo Mastrocinque’s Christopher Lee vehicle Terror in the Crypt and Ignacio Iquino’s obscure western Joe Dexter (both 64). Subsequently, however, she returned to smaller roles: she was one of The Tall Women, along with Anne Baxter and Maria Perschy, was an abducted rich girl who falls for her bandit kidnapper in the excellent $10,000 Blood Money and had a tiny part in John Huston’s big-budget The Bible (66). The last credited role for her is in Armando De Ossorio’s 1969 film Malenka, with Anita Ekberg, after which she seems to have totally disappeared.
