R.I.P. Patrick McGoohan

Another sad bit of news, Patrick McGoohan has died. To be honest, McGoohan’s impact on the world of European Cinema was less than TV (with The Prisoner, of course, and Danger Man) on in the States. However, he was in a few films of interest. Among his early work in Britain were the likes of Cy Endfield’s Hell Drivers (57) and Anthony Asquith’s Two Living One Dead (61). Then, after a spell in the US, he returned to Europe and appeared in Damiano Damian’s late Spaghetti Western, Un genio, due compari, un pollo (75).

Anyway, here’s a link to his obituary in The Guardian
